Club Beach Dive Report
Crescent Bay, Laguna Beach

Another great day of diving was had by all at Crescent Bay for our monthly club dive!!! Those enjoying the day diving with us were:  David Garthwaite, Steve Roberts, Annette Roberts, Elissa May-Thompson, Ron Meredith, Gary Cornell, Norm Corlew, Scott Nickles, John Baker, new club member, Bill Deruyter and two members of the Huntington Beach dive club, Debbie and Mike Smith.The day was sunny and warm with calm waters of one to two foot waves. Water temperature was approximately fifty-eight degrees. Rays were seen in the bay area where visibility was approximately thirty feet. Near Seal Rock and Dead Man's Reef visibility dropped to fifteen feet. Norm and Scott made it out to Dead Man's Reef, however, nothing was large enough for Norm's spear gun. The majority of the group went to Seal Rock where Steve and Annette said they saw at least thirty seals romping in the water. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a pleasant day of diving.
