Club Beach Dive Report
Main Beach, Laguna Beach

A beautiful early morning without clouds in
Laguna Beach was the setting for the May 11th SCDCIE beach dive.  We had a great turnout of 13 divers!  Arriving at Main Beach, the divers first had to find a parking space, which is no easy task in Laguna Beach!  Surf conditions were good, with mostly 2 to 3 foot swells.  Our divers entered the water to the east of the reef and swam out looking for interesting sea critters and reefs.  Visibility was in the 10 to 15 foot range and the maximum depth for everyone was about 30 feet.

Divers included: John Baker, Robert Carlos, Chris Cole, Dave Garthwaite, Dave Lawrence, Ron Meredith, Scott Nichol, Jim Shaffer, Gary, Jennifer and Daniel Sommerville, Mike Sorenson, Lloyd Thompson and everyone had a really good time.
